MCC secures strategically order

The VBG Group’s Mobile Climate Control division has been selected to deliver electric HVAC systems to the US bus manufacturer Eldorado National. The order is valued at  USD 13 M.

Mobile Climate Control has secured an order worth USD 13 M to deliver electric HVAC systems for installation in up to six hundred CNG-powered buses for the US bus manufacturer Eldorado National. The order for the buses was placed by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, which operates public transport in Los Angeles.

“This represents a breakthrough order for us. Eldorado National is a new customer and LA Metro’s HVAC systems were previously always supplied by one of our main competitors. What makes this more important is that the order is for electric HVAC systems, given that this is an entirely new technology that will be standard in the future,” says Clas Gunneberg, Division Manager of Mobile Climate Control.

Deliveries of the HVAC systems to Eldorado National will commence at the end of 2017 and will continue over a period of approximately two to three years.
